Originally from Georgia, he still had family and friends there but had become a resident of New Jersey only a few years prior to his disappearance. Though he moved around frequently and was only staying with his mother briefly, he had consistently remained in close contact with his family. One of the last times his family heard his voice was shortly before he vanished, when he called his father to wish him a Happy Father's Day. His family believes he may have been seeking a fresh start in New Jersey. His stepmother described him as incredibly kind and loving, particularly with his young daughter, despite a tough exterior.
The last known sighting of Dillon was by a friend in Paulsboro, New Jersey. According to the friend, Dillon had come to his home on Billings Avenue to ask for money.
After this encounter, Dillon was last seen walking away from the residence. At the time of his disappearance, he was known to frequent several areas in New Jersey, including Pitman, Paulsboro, Lindenwold, Gloucester Township, and Camden City. His mother officially reported him missing to the Pitman Police Department after not seeing him since June 19, 2015.
Dillon is described as a white male, standing at approximately 5'9' and weighing around 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He had distinctive tattoos, including full sleeves on both arms, one of which featured a heart with the word 'Mom' on his right arm. He also had both of his ears gauged with quarter-sized discs. When he was last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt, and flip-flops, and had a beard and mustache. The Pitman Police Department has kept his case active, conducting extensive reviews, re-examining DNA evidence against state and federal databases, and maintaining close contact with his family.
