On October 7, 2010, Christopher Russell, a 27-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot in what has become one of the city's many unsolved homicides. Russell was found by police in the early morning hours with gunshot wounds in an area known for some criminal activity. Despite efforts by law enforcement to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, no suspects were identified, and the case has remained open.
