In the summer of 2015, a 23-year-old U.S. Army veteran named Michael 'Mike' Forrest Robinson disappeared from Bend, Oregon. He was last seen on July 28, 2015, with his black Labrador, Charlie. A missing person report was filed with the Bend Police Department in Deschutes County after his wife, who he was estranged from, went to their apartment on August 4th to finalize moving out and discovered he had left.
