Robin Ann Graham, an 18-year-old college student, disappeared on November 14, 1970, in Los Angeles, California. That evening, Graham's car ran out of gas while she was driving southbound on the Hollywood Freeway. After pulling over near the Santa Monica Boulevard exit, she contacted her parents by phone, asking them to come pick her up. A California Highway Patrol officer also stopped to offer help, but Graham indicated that assistance was already on its way.
Sometime after this, a white male in his mid-20s, seen wearing bell-bottoms and a turtleneck, approached Graham. A light blue 1957-1960 Corvette was parked behind her vehicle at the time. Witnesses last saw Graham voluntarily entering the Corvette. When her parents arrived at the scene shortly after, they found her car locked and abandoned, but there was no trace of Graham or the man in the Corvette.
Despite extensive searches and media coverage, Graham was never found. Over the years, speculation arose that her disappearance may have been linked to other unsolved cases or potentially involved the infamous Zodiac Killer, though no definitive connections have been established.
