In the community of Del City, Oklahoma, concern grew for a 15-year-old girl named Tamireyahna Warren after she was last seen on February 5, 2024. As a Black female with black hair and brown eyes, her disappearance prompted efforts to locate her and ensure her safety. There had been previous instances where she was reported missing, including a report from December 2021 when she was just 12 years old.
Each time, the hope was for a safe return, a resolution that would bring relief to those who knew her. Her case was entered into national databases for missing persons as authorities and her community searched for answers.
The search for Tamireyahna came to a tragic and devastating end on the night of March 21, 2025. In Oklahoma City, police were called to a gathering near NE 7th and Missouri following reports that someone had been hit by a car. Investigators determined that 16-year-old Tamireyahna was intentionally run over with a vehicle while she was at the event. The driver fled the scene after striking her. Tamireyahna was rushed to a hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries. The incident, which police believe stemmed from a prior argument, was investigated as the city's 14th homicide of the year.
Following the incident, police conducted a traffic stop and arrested the suspect, 18-year-old Quimariauna Neal, who was still in the vehicle used to strike Tamireyahna. She was subsequently booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder. The case, which began as a search for a missing teenager, concluded as a homicide investigation. The loss was deeply felt by her family, with her sister expressing profound heartbreak, stating, 'I feel broken, just, I feel lost. It's my baby sister.'
