Edward Hale Hunsberger, aged 30, was last seen on February 25, 1978, in North Wales, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Stephanie, both long-time heroin addicts, had moved into the home of Stephanie's father, Dr. Jay Smith, in an effort to get clean. On the day they vanished, the couple visited Edward’s parents to work on their taxes, leaving with the promise to return later that day. However, they were never heard from again.
