Michael Sean Grant, then 51, lived on Sanders Road in Laurinburg, North Carolina, and suffered from schizophrenia. On December 27, 2017, a caregiver dropped him off at home, but he never checked in with family as was his routine. When relatives were unable to reach him, authorities were alerted and a Silver Alert was issued promptly.
