Roberto Franco, age 54, was last seen on August 8, 1985, in Miami, Florida. Originally from Cuba, Franco had migrated to the United States in 1971 with his family. On the day of his disappearance, he informed his wife that he was going to a local bakery and then planned to visit a friend in the area. Franco was driving a blue 1980 or 1981 Chevrolet pickup truck with a camper shell at the time.
A few days later, Franco's truck was found abandoned near Southwest 186th Street and South Dixie Highway. However, there was no sign of him, and he has not been heard from since. At the time of his disappearance, Franco was wearing a white shirt and blue work pants. He was also missing part of his right middle finger.
Authorities suspect foul play may be involved in his case, but despite extensive investigation, his disappearance remains unsolved.Last Seen: Aug 8, 1985
