Roger Anderson, a 33-year-old man from Eureka, California, went missing on February 15, 1993, while sailing his mother's boat, the *Admiral King*. He was approximately 10 miles off the coast of Eureka when the boat reportedly sank outside state waters. Authorities received a distress signal from the boat’s emergency beacon around 7:30 a.m. Following this, rescue teams discovered debris including a life raft, wood, and the radio equipment that had sent the emergency signal.
