Charles "Chuck" Anglea, Jr., a 54-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, was last seen on July 29, 2010. On that day, he left his home on his 2009 black Harley-Davidson motorcycle. His intended destination was believed to be Dragon Tale in Pigeon Forge. When he departed, he was wearing a white t-shirt with "Court Services" printed on it, blue jeans, and white athletic shoes. He also wore a gold watch. Anglea is described as a white male, standing between 5'10" and 6'0" tall and weighing between 180 and 185 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. A notable characteristic is a tattoo on his upper right arm of a cross with barbed wire. A significant development in the case came in 2013 when Anglea's Harley-Davidson motorcycle was found abandoned on the side of a road in Bedford County, Tennessee. This location was approximately 60 miles south of where he was last seen in Nashville, which was not on the expected route to Pigeon Forge. The discovery of his motorcycle without any sign of Anglea added a troubling dimension to his disappearance, deepening the mystery for investigators and his family. The circumstances surrounding why the motorcycle was left in that location remain unclear. In a later turn of events, in February 2024, Anglea's wife, Amy Anglea, was indicted on multiple charges, including theft of property over $250,000, forgery, and identity theft. An investigation by the Tennessee Comptroller's Office revealed that she had allegedly been fraudulently collecting her missing husband's pension and health insurance benefits for years after his disappearance. Investigators determined that she had forged his signature on various documents to continue receiving the benefits, totaling over $350,000. This complex situation brought new attention to Charles Anglea's cold case, highlighting the financial motivations that can be intertwined with a person's disappearance. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of his disappearance, a case that has now spanned over a decade, leaving his loved ones without answers.
