Erik Thomas Ruiz, a 25-year-old man from Carbon Hill, Alabama, was last seen on January 13, 2011. On the day of his disappearance, Ruiz met with his girlfriend, giving her money for phone minutes and groceries. He later received a ride to the Winfield area and was reportedly seen driving or being driven to Guin, Alabama. After this, he vanished without any further contact.
