On May 12, 2014, five-year-old Luis Rosario disappeared from New Port Richey, Florida, alongside his two sisters, Kristy and Lissy. Authorities suspect that they were abducted by their non-custodial parents, Luis Enrique Rosario Sr. and Rita Maria Rosario. At the time of his disappearance, Luis was described as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 4 feet tall and weighing about 60 pounds.
