Kimberly Gomez-Coronado, a 6-year-old girl from Canton, Mississippi, was last seen on September 7, 2014. She was abducted along with her three sisters—Evelin, Mendy, and Jackelyn—by their non-custodial mother, Sonia Coronado, and their stepfather, Fernando Pelayo Coria. The abduction occurred after the children had been placed into state custody earlier in the year due to severe abuse by their stepfather, who was charged with child abuse.
