In the early hours of December 13, 2015, John Paul Fernandez, a 22-year-old Seton Hall University student, vanished from his family's home on Kentucky Avenue in Middletown, New Jersey. Known as 'JP' or 'Japes' to his loved ones, he was a senior studying accounting and was just months away from graduation.
