Meghan Elizabeth Owens, a 17-year-old from Marysville, Washington, was last seen on February 1, 2016, during a sightseeing trip in Tillamook, Oregon. She was hiking with friends at Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area when she accidentally fell from a cliff into the area known as "The Punch Bowl" around 3:00 p.m. The ocean had dangerous eight- to ten-foot swells at the time, and Meghan was quickly swept out of sight.
