Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP33289) and 8 other sources
Chip Campbell, 36, was last seen on March 6, 2016, in Milton, Florida. He lived with a roommate on Ward Basin Road, who reported seeing him for the last time around 10:30 p.m. that night. When she returned the next day, Campbell was gone, and the home was in disarray, with mud tracked across the floors, doors left open, and his insulin vials scattered on the floor. His phone was found with the battery removed, and his dog, usually kept inside, was left outside.

On March 8, surveillance footage captured Campbell at a Circle K gas station near his home. He appeared disheveled and was carrying two backpacks, though he left the station without them. These backpacks were later recovered and contained personal items, including his EBT card, Social Security card, diabetic supplies, and some survival materials. Despite this discovery, Campbell has not been seen or heard from since.

Leading up to his disappearance, Campbell had been struggling with drug use and personal issues. His family reported that he had become involved with dangerous individuals and believed his drug use, particularly methamphetamine, was exacerbating his already severe medical conditions, including diabetes and seizures. His family has expressed suspicion of his roommate, who was later found forging his father's checks. Despite these concerns, no conclusive evidence has emerged regarding Campbell's fate, and his case remains unsolved.
