In the spring of 2016, a sense of unease settled over the community of Kapa'a on the island of Kaua'i, Hawaii, following the disappearance of a local man. Napoleon M. Ray, a 54-year-old resident, was last seen at his home on April 6, 2016. His children were the ones to report him missing, initiating a search and a case that would leave family and friends with many unanswered questions.
