On the afternoon of May 12, 2016, 67-year-old Douglas Schofield was last seen in Centralia, Washington. He had taken a local transit bus to the area of his home with the intention of gathering some clothing for his wife. His wife was in the hospital at the time and was awaiting her discharge. Douglas, a caring husband, wanted to make sure she had fresh clothes to come home to.
