Typhenie Johnson, a 25-year-old woman from Euless, Texas, was last seen on the night of October 10, 2016. She had been outside her apartment complex, Post Oak East Apartments, with her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill, discussing the end of their relationship. Revill was persistent in trying to reconcile, despite Typhenie's repeated attempts to end things. The conversation was partially observed by her twin brother and others, but at some point, Typhenie and Revill moved out of sight.
Revill later returned alone, claiming Typhenie had left with someone else. However, her brother discovered her phone, keys, and a sock near Revill's car, raising immediate suspicion.
Revill was quickly arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping. Evidence, including pieces of Typhenie's clothing found in his parents' yard and witness testimony, pointed to foul play. Although he has been convicted and sentenced to life in prison, authorities believe Typhenie was murdered, though her body has never been found. The search for her continues, and her family has worked tirelessly, enlisting private investigators and volunteers in hopes of bringing her home.
Revill's connection to the disappearance of another ex-girlfriend, Taalibah Islam, who went missing in 2006, has further compounded the tragedy surrounding Typhenie's case. Both disappearances share striking similarities, as Revill was the last person seen with both women before they vanished.
