Teresa Lynn Towne-Woolard, a 48-year-old woman from Burton, Michigan, was last seen on December 5, 2016, near her residence at Kings Lane Apartments, located off Hemphill Road. On that day, she was reportedly walking with an unidentified man along Hemphill Road. Teresa sent a text to her daughter in the early hours of December 11, but after that, all communication ceased.
