Catherine Barbara Davidson, a six-year-old girl from Chicago, Illinois, was reported missing on September 1, 1973, during a family picnic at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, Michigan. According to her father, Robert, and stepmother, Anna, Catherine wandered off with her five older siblings to explore a nearby creek, but she never returned.
