In the winter of 1975, a planned move became the start of a lasting mystery for the Evans family. On February 21, 15-year-old Gregory Douglas Evans, a student at Kennewick High School, was in Lincoln City, Oregon, to help his older brother, 21-year-old Richard 'Rick' Evans. Richard, who had been living in the coastal city, was preparing to move back to their family's hometown of Kennewick, Washington.
