Tanya Ruiz, a 24-year-old woman, was last seen on August 6, 1975, at Edwards Ranch near Piru, California, where she lived with her husband. Tanya had spent the previous few days visiting her grandmother and was supposed to meet her on Sunday for a church event, but she never showed up. Her family, concerned when they couldn't reach her, began searching for her. A month later, her mother reported her missing to authorities.
