Taurino Lagunas Velazquez, a 23-year-old man, was reported missing on January 1, 1987, from Santa Ana, California. Originally from Morelia, Mexico, Taurino had moved to the United States in 1985 and was living in Santa Ana at the time of his disappearance. He maintained regular communication with his family until all contact abruptly stopped in 1987. Since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown.
