Gustav Prilepok, a 56-year-old man from West Bloomfield, Michigan, went missing on February 7, 1991. He had a military background and worked as a welder. His disappearance was reported under suspicious circumstances after an altercation with his wife, Janea, and stepson, Jan Borek.
