Roberto Mercado Sylva, aged 40, was last seen on December 7, 1996, at his home in Stanton, California. He has not been heard from since, and few details about his disappearance have emerged over the years. At the time of his disappearance, Sylva was wearing black pants, a blue t-shirt, a blue jacket, and white sneakers.
