Karin Elizabeth Mero, age 27, was last seen on February 28, 1997, in McCloud, California. Karin had been living with her boyfriend at the home of Ed Henline Sr. and his wife, and she was last spotted on their porch. Karin, who had a history of medical complications, including a liver transplant in 1994, was reliant on regular anti-rejection medications and other prescriptions, making her disappearance concerning.
