She left her residence near Camelot Court and St. Marks Street at approximately 7:00 a.m. to go for a walk but never returned. Witnesses reported seeing her walking eastbound on Lake Boulevard near the railroad tracks. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green and black striped dress, a black fur hat, large hoop earrings, and silver and gold bracelets.
Saechao was considered a vulnerable adult due to potential dementia and other health concerns, such as complaints of chest pains and blurred vision. Despite extensive searches in the local area, including places she frequented like the Shopko store, Raley's on Lake Boulevard, and the Community Gardens near Caldwell Park, no clues were found regarding her whereabouts.
