In the late summer of 2008, a 66-year-old woman named Barbara Ellen Brunson went missing from Sumter, South Carolina, leaving behind a community concerned for her welfare. Ms. Brunson, a resident of Greene's Residential Care Facility for approximately five years, was last seen on the premises on August 4, 2008.
