On August 19, 2016, 44-year-old Daniel Joe Braden, a male also known by the nickname Shawn, disappeared from St. Joseph, Tennessee. He and a companion, Janson Alex Brewer, left together in a silver 1994 Ford Ranger with a step-side bed. The purpose of their trip remains unclear, with some reports suggesting they were going fishing, while others indicate they may have been traveling to Florida to pick up a vehicle.
