David Phillip Askew, age 55, was last seen on February 3, 2017, in Redding, California. He was reported missing after disappearing from Market Street, where he was last known to be. Askew, who struggled with mental health issues, sometimes experienced auditory hallucinations. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, black boots, and was known to have worn a cross necklace and a ring with a saint symbol.
