In the quiet community of Loretto, Kentucky, a sense of unease settled over the friends and family of Gary Thomas Tacey in the summer of 2017. Known affectionately by some as 'Buddy Love,' the 53-year-old man had seemingly vanished from his home without a trace. The last confirmed sighting of Gary was on June 12, 2017.
