Stuart Carlson, a 19-year-old cook, disappeared from Atlantic City, New Jersey, on February 24, 1979. He had been working at a local hotel in the city when he went missing. At the time of his disappearance, Carlson’s car and some of his personal belongings were found abandoned in the parking lot of the hotel where he was employed, but there were no immediate signs of what had happened to him.
