In the spring of 1990, a 37-year-old woman named Penny Yvonne Peeler was living in the area of Enid, Oklahoma, when her life took a turn that remains shrouded in mystery. Shortly after Penny spoke with her mother, her husband embarked on a trip that lasted from approximately April 27th to May 11th, 1990. Reports vary on the nature of this trip; some indicate Penny had told her mother the trip was canceled, while others suggest her husband was traveling with another woman. Glenn "Bud" Peeler Jr. provided inconsistent stories about his wife's whereabouts.
