Javier Pimentel, aged 23, was last seen on October 20, 1997, near his home in the Berryessa neighborhood of San Jose, California. On that day, Javier was abducted, and later in the evening, his family received a ransom call from an unidentified individual, demanding payment for his safe return. However, the person who made the call did not contact the family again, and Javier has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in his case.
