Jerome David Robinson, a 21-year-old man, was last seen on December 28, 2001, in Tunis, Texas. He had spent the night at the Team Club, a local bar, where he won a significant amount of money gambling. The following morning, he was dropped off at the bar to collect the rest of his winnings. Jerome has not been seen or heard from since.
Initially, Jerome's friends assured his family that he had left town, which delayed the report of his disappearance.
However, when he failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing on January 11, 2002, his grandmother reported him missing. Investigators believe that Jerome was carrying a large sum of money when he disappeared and that foul play was involved. Significant forensic evidence found at the bar suggested that Jerome may have been murdered, but despite these clues, his body has never been recovered, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
