Charles Edward Billings, 28, was last seen on July 18, 2006, in Imperial County, California, near Niland. He and a friend had taken Billings' ATV into a military area just north of Niland. While the friend returned home, Billings never did, and he has not been heard from since. Authorities later found his ATV, but there were no further signs of Billings. Foul play is suspected in his disappearance, though few details have emerged over the years.
