Wilson Boynton, aged 77, went missing on September 18, 2006, from Boothbay, Maine. He was last seen leaving the White Anchor Inn to go sailing alone on his boat, *Jeannie B.* Later that day, his vessel was found adrift near Squirrel Island, unmanned. Despite an extensive search by the Coast Guard and other local authorities, no trace of Boynton was found.
