Barry Kendal Vedder, aged 51, was last heard from on May 19, 2008, when he spoke to his sister using a cellphone she had given him. He was known to frequent the Desert Shores area in Imperial County, California, near the Salton Sea. Despite maintaining some contact with family members, Vedder disappeared without leaving any clear clues about his whereabouts.
