Barbara Stoffer, an 83-year-old woman from Howardville, Missouri, was last seen on August 20, 2013. She was driving her green 1997 Volvo 850 GLT with an expired Missouri license plate (078RYW) heading south on Highway 61. Barbara, who suffered from bipolar disorder and possibly early signs of Alzheimer’s, has not been seen or heard from since that day. Despite extensive searches, neither Barbara nor her vehicle has been found.
