Richard "Smokey" Roasting Stick, a 57-year-old Native American man, was last seen on the evening of February 10, 2017, at the Northern Winz Casino near Box Elder, Montana. Witnesses reported seeing him walking south on a dirt road away from the casino after leaving his vehicle in the parking lot. Despite extensive searches, he has not been seen or heard from since. His disappearance has raised significant concern, and there were reports that he might have been seen in other Montana locations, such as Great Falls, Fort Belknap, and Havre, but none of these leads have been confirmed.
Roasting Stick, described as 5'8" tall and 155 pounds, with graying brown hair and brown eyes, was a familiar figure in the area, and his sudden disappearance remains a mystery.
