Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP42583) and 10 other sources
Leroy Grado Almanza, a 40-year-old man from Deming, New Mexico, was last seen on March 8, 2017. That day, his father saw him at his apartment, and another family member reportedly saw him later on Hood Road. Inside his apartment, a half-eaten hamburger was found, something his family found unusual, as Leroy would not typically leave food unfinished. His family officially reported him missing on March 14, six days after his last sighting.

At the time of his disappearance, Leroy was involved with drugs, and his family was aware that he was associating with dangerous individuals. Despite this, his family kept in touch with him regularly and ensured that his basic needs were met. Leroy's parents had tried to encourage him to enter treatment for his addiction, but he resisted. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, blue jeans, black Lugz shoes, and a black sports watch. He has several distinctive tattoos, including a woman's face on his left arm and the letters "LA" on his chest.

Authorities have worked with Leroy's family, and a reward was offered through Deming Crime Stoppers for any information leading to an arrest or resolution in the case. Despite these efforts, his case remains unsolved.
