Jose Garcia Guinea, a 24-year-old, was last seen on August 16, 2017, in McAllen, Texas. He had reportedly been traveling from Guatemala with the help of a smuggler. The smuggler later informed Jose's family that he had turned himself in to U.S. immigration authorities. However, since that point, there has been no further communication from or about Jose, and he has not been heard from again.
