Francisco Ixchop-Chajon, a 26-year-old man, was last in contact with his family on August 22, 2017, while in Falfurrias, Texas. During his final phone call, he informed his family that he was extremely exhausted and had been left behind by the group he was traveling with because he could no longer continue walking. His location and condition after that phone call remain unknown.
