Robert Lara, a 36-year-old man, was last seen on August 14, 2014, while crossing from Reynosa, Mexico, into the United States with a group. He last made contact with his family by phone from an unknown location near Reynosa. According to reports, after crossing the border, the guide informed his family that Robert was arrested near Falfurrias, Texas. However, he was supposed to be picked up in Falfurrias, but he never arrived at the agreed pick-up point, and no one has heard from him since.
