Jonnathan Jose Sanchez Andrade, a 20-year-old from Ecuador, went missing on December 4, 2017, near McAllen, Texas. He was reportedly crossing the U.S. border illegally as part of a group of migrants. According to other group members, after traveling for four hours outside of Houston, Texas, Jonnathan complained that he could no longer continue walking. The group, believing that Border Patrol would eventually find him, left him by the roadside. However, Jonnathan was never heard from again.
