On a summer evening in 2022, the life of Donald Farris Jr. took an uncertain turn, leaving his family in a state of perpetual worry. On July 3rd, his sister, Amanda Wells, and her husband, Aaron, dropped the 40-year-old off at a senior center in Collinsville, Illinois, for a visit with his grandfather.
