Max Phillip Greenfield, a 25-year-old man from Brookings, Oregon, disappeared on March 17, 2018, after visiting the Lucky 7 Casino in Smith River, California. Greenfield, who had a history of mental illness and was on medication at the time, was last seen on security footage leaving the casino around 1:50 a.m. with an unidentified adult male. The two walked across the parking lot toward Highway 101, but only the man returned to the casino shortly after.
Greenfield has not been seen or heard from since that moment.
Prior to his disappearance, Max was living with his mother and was described as a regular at the casino. His phone, which only worked on Wi-Fi, has not shown any activity since that night, and he left behind personal items, including his identification and favorite jacket.
