Asata Amun, a 16-year-old from Buford, Georgia, has been missing since February 1, 2024. On the day of her disappearance, she was captured on a doorbell camera running out of her family home in Sugar Hill. This followed a disciplinary issue at her school, which family members believe might have triggered her to leave. However, she did not take any personal belongings with her, and her family reported that there was no indication she had planned to run away.
