Steven Matthew Bronson, 31, was last seen leaving his home in Long Beach, California, on June 27, 2018. Three days later, his silver 2003 Toyota Corolla was found abandoned on the northbound 5 Freeway near Castaic, about 50 miles from his home. Some of his belongings were still inside the car, with the windows rolled down, raising concerns about his sudden disappearance.
Bronson's family and friends were alarmed, especially given that this behavior was out of character for him.
Despite having gone missing on two prior occasions, he had always maintained contact during those periods. His phone has remained off, and no activity has been seen on his social media accounts since his disappearance. There has also been no indication of where he may have been headed. Friends speculated that he might have been en route to Bakersfield, as he had recently gotten lost in the area with his girlfriend.
Bronson is described as being 5'9", weighing around 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has distinctive tattoos, including a handicap symbol near his right eye, a wolf on his neck, and a bird with an “S” on a shield on his neck. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black tank top, black shorts, and red shoes. His mental health condition, which could cause disorientation, adds to the urgency of the search.
